Notification Settings

Manage the notifications you receive from Airtime by updating your notification settings.

To adjust which chat messages you receive:

• From within the room, tap the room name at the top of the screen.
• Then tap the  button for more. 
• Under "Chat Messages" select "All Messages," "Only @mentions," or "None" to choose which chat message notifications you'd like to receive. 
  

To turn off room update notifications:

• From within the room, tap the room name at the top of the screen.
• Then tap the  button for more. 
• Toggle "Room Updates" if you do not want to be notified when important room properties are changed such as name, topic, or privacy. 

To temporarily turn off all notifications for a specific room on iOS, Android, and Web:

• From within the room, tap the room name at the top of the screen.
• Then tap the  button for more. 
• Toggle “Snooze Room” off and select a timeframe for how long you'd like to silence the notifications. Snoozing a room will temporarily stop all notifications, but activities will still appear in your activity feed. 

To customize notifications for Rooms, People, and Messages (available on iOS only):

• Tap on the bottom right corner.
• Next, tap  in the upper right corner of your profile. 
• Tap Notifications.
• Customize your preferred notifications for “Rooms”, “People” and “Messages.”
