We are currently working on this echo issue, and hope to have a fix for it soon. In the meantime, here are a few things you can try.
- For the best experience at this time on the Airtime web app, we recommend all users that are going live wear headphones.
- If you're experiencing a lot of echo noise from other live users, please try wearing headphones.
Connection issues
If you run into any connection issues while using the Airtime web app here are a few things you can try.
- Check to see that you are on a stable wifi network with fast connection (Tip: If you aren't sure, you use a tool like SpeedTest.net to check.)
- Try closing out of the web app and starting again in a new window or tab.
- If neither of those things do the trick, please follow the steps in our Leaving Feedback article to get in touch with us or reach out to support@airtime.com- include your Airtime username and a description of the issue.
Audio issues
If you run into any audio issues while using the Airtime web app here are a few things you can try.
- If others can't hear you while you're live, first check to make sure that you are not muted.
- Check that you have given the Airtime web app access to your device's microphone.
- Try turning your microphone off and then back on.
- If none of those things do the trick, please follow the steps in our Leaving Feedback article to get in touch with us or reach out to support@airtime.com- include your Airtime username and a description of the issue.
Video issues
If you run into any video chat issues while using the Airtime web app here a few things you can try.
- Check that you've given the Airtime web app access to your camera.
- Try turning your camera off and then back on.
- If neither of those things do the trick, please follow the steps in our Leaving Feedback article to get in touch with us or reach out to support@airtime.com- include your Airtime username and a description of the issue.
Save camera and microphone permissions on Safari
Safari can remember that you've given camera and microphone permissions for the Airtime web app in Safari's preferences.
- First, open the Airtime web app in Safari.
- From the top of your screen, select "Safari."
- Next, select "Preferences."
- Then, click "Websites."
- Under "General" on the left side of the window, select "Camera."
- Next to Airtime web app URL, select "Allow." You can do the same for "Microphone."
